Our Story

Lauren moved into her home in Spring of 2021, with a passion for gardening and an affinity for completing any project she set out to do. Lauren and Marissa met in 2022, and it was then that Lauren’s love for gardening and cultivating community met Marissa’s love of tinkering and digging holes. For the next two years, they would be growing vegetables from seed, transforming the backyard into a suburban farm, and slowly but surely building a greenhouse. In 2024, the duo hosted their first harvest dinner, inviting local friends from all over colorful Colorado. The success of their first harvest dinner instilled a new sense of verve and excitement for all that could come of this .16 acre lot. Now they are looking to increase the yield of their harvest, and potentially selling starts in farmers markets come 2026. With friends, family, and their community behind them, Hunnydale Farm has become a blossoming entity that showcases how love, care, community, and vegetables can all grow together in harmony.

Our mission is to be curious about all the ways to grow and cultivate colorful Colorado.
